FAQs

Clear answers before you take the next step.

The essentials for candidates and employers. If your question is specific to a role or situation, speak directly with Sinead.

Do I pay RMErecruit as a candidate?

No. Recruitment fees are agreed with the employer. Candidates are not charged to apply for a vacancy or speak to RMErecruit about a role.

Can I have a confidential conversation before applying?

Yes. Use the contact details on this site and explain that your enquiry is confidential. RMErecruit will only share your information for a specific purpose and on the appropriate lawful basis.

What happens after I apply?

RMErecruit reviews your information against the vacancy. If there may be a fit, you will be contacted about the role, the process and any information that may be shared with the employer.

Does RMErecruit work only in finance?

No. RMErecruit works across engineering, manufacturing, construction, professional services, financial services and SMEs, recruiting for functions including finance, operations, supply chain, technical sales and business support.

How does an employer agree the recruitment fee?

RMErecruit sends a private, recipient-specific link containing the complete terms and the agreed 12% or 15% fee. The authorised recipient reviews and accepts the frozen version electronically.

How are placement invoices handled?

After an accepted agreement and confirmed placement, RMErecruit prepares a draft GBP invoice with the agreed fee, 20% VAT and 14-day payment terms. Sinead reviews it before it is sent through Stripe’s secure Hosted Invoice Page.

Can I ask for my personal data to be corrected or deleted?

Yes. Contact RMErecruit using the details in the privacy notice. Some records may need to be retained where a legal or contractual obligation applies, and RMErecruit will explain that decision.
